The light project
For just Php 950, you'll be able to provide 1 solar light to 1 family for 5 years.
Lights, for many, have been seen as a luxury. Because of this, many have resorted to dependency on kerosene lamps which are both expensive and harmful. Those who can't afford them have to go without their lamps for days, leaving them in the dark. Those who can, live with the harmful toxins of the kerosene. The World Bank reports that 1 day with a kerosene lamp is like smoking 2 packs of cigarettes.
The Light Project together with Kids for Kids and One Million Lights Philippines.
Food not fear
Supporting Community Pantries as inspired by the first Maginhawa Community Pantry.
A year after the first lockdown, millions of Filipinos still need our assistance when it comes to food. We're in one of the longest lockdowns in the world, with no clear end to the pandemic in our home-- and still, at the height of the lockdown, our government has chosen to not prioritize this need of our people, so we're stepping up in the spirit of bayanihan to fill in this need.
Together with Kids for Kids and AKO.org, we allocate this fund to our priority environmental defender communities: The Tamaraw Rangers, Ipo Rangers, and the Lokal Lab farming community in Siargao.
Protecting the protectors of our environment sounds simple, and it can be! For The Future's Keystone team, together with various partner environmental organizations, are bringing attention and raising funds to support different wildlife conservation initiatives all around the Philippines.
Through the Wildlife Warriors, we hope to raise awareness and provide a channel for your contributions to directly support the needs of our fellow environment loving organizations.
Our Climate Emergency and Typhoon Relief fund launched last 2020 has since supported Filipino typhoon survivors with immediate relief and long-term aid such as solar lights, water filters, housing, livelihood, and education.
Starting December 17, 2021, we have put our fund into providing needed aid to typhoon survivors of Typhoon Odette, one of the strongest storms of 2021.
